Camping at Marshall Lake

As most of you know we are in the process of moving. I hate it. Our house is a disaster, so to escape the clutter we decided to go camping. It was only a few miles from our house incase we decided to go home, and I have never gotten to test out my instant tent that I got for my birthday. Here are some pics of our adventure.

This tent literally set up in 60seconds! Just like the box said. It has two rooms and you can fit four queen mattresses in it, and stand up the whole time. For camping....it was pretty great. :)

Emma got to invite her bestie and her parents(our besties) and everyone enjoyed roasting hot dogs and smores.

Emma was very sad to take the tent down(in 60 seconds again! yay) But we'll do it again sometime.

Best part.....my toddler was busy the whole time. So busy that I got to relax, and she was EXHAUSTED. Maybe I can kinda understand pretending to be homeless after all, but only when you have kids. She didn't even make it the few miles home.

We have a 2 year old!

Emma is two years old. Thats right. Wow, its hard to believe. For her birthday we invited two of her besties from nursury to join us for a pool party at my work. It was super chill and super cheap and super great. The girls love the warm bath temp water that the assisted living facility had to offer. The residents NEVER use it, so they let staff and family come when they want. We take Emma all the time, but this was Jenny's first time.

Jenny is such a great kid and can be found crawling everywhere, but her favorite spot is under the coffee table to taste the cold metal bars.
Although we still have not evicted Emma from the crib. We ended up just using the pack and play.

Kallam is still having a great time with his graduation present.

Emma is obsessed with cameras and taking pictures of herself lately.

There are about a hundred of these lovelies a day while i'm not looking

And helping to take pictures of Jenny

They had super cute matching easter dresses. Getting a picture was like pulling teeth. :)

We love that they are starting to play together
