A New Place to Call Home

Colorado is definitely not home yet, but we sure have been having fun with it! Having worked every Saturday for six years unless I took it off for a special occassion, we are soaking up WEEKENDS! Did you guys know about weekends??? I feel like its this thing I forgot even existed anymore. Its this amazing chunk of time every week that you get to do stuff you need to do, or actually WANT to do. Its amazing and I dont really want to give it up yet. We have fun exploring every weekend, or just doing things like yard work, unpacking and grocery shopping. No more will I be doing my grocery shopping at 7 at night with two insanely tired toddlers. At least, not most of the time. Never say never I suppose. But this past weekend Kallam's sister and her hubby came to visit for the day while they were here visiting his parents in a nearby town. We went through some canyons and took fun drives and ended up in a small town called Cripple Creek which is just as cute and funny as it sounds. They have a yearly Ice Carving festival where artists line the streets with insanely cool and INTERACTIVE(awesome!) ice carvings. The girls enjoyed going down ice slides and through ice mazes among other things. Here are a few of our favorite shots.

Emma was a little skeptical that she would actually find us at the end of the maze....

It was pretty much awesome. :)

Evening the score

I'm sure most of you that read this have already found out, but I had to post about it all on its own anyways. We would be jazzed to report either, but I know that we are also glad to report that Kallam wont be so outnumbered after all. We are having a boy!!! Pretty much everything in the ultrasound looked good, although I did have a bleed that they will be watching, probably due to the car accident I had so early on in the pregnancy they said. But prayers and hopes that it will go away on its own and we wont have any complications. Ill be trying to take it easy too. Well, the placenta is kinda in the way too, so there is always that chance of a c-section as well. Cant any pregnancy just be simple? :) We are grateful that is all they found, and feel really blessed that I had the car accident so early on, when the damage to me and baby boy was minimal.
