The Blessing

We recently blessed Emma at her Grandma and Grandpa Hancock's house in Winslow. I know what you're probably thinking, and it is very much allowed. We loved having it at home where it could be the main event, not smashed in between a bunch of testimonies and other babies getting blessed, and Kallam felt very strongly about not having a microphone shoved in his face. :) We were really excited that all of her grandparents could be there as well as some aunts, uncles and cousins. It was wonderful and she looked absolutely beautiful in her little white dress that I was also blessed in when I was born. (So glad it fit even though she's getting SO BIG) Just wanted to share some of the pictures that we got. I really wish we had gotten a few better ones, but she just wouldn't stop eating her dress, so what can ya do right?

  1. I love this. I think it is so neat that you kept the blessing at home. It makes it much more special! very cool that she wore your dress :)
If I had more priesthood holders in my family, I'd do the same!
