One of the perks of working for a city is that Kallam gets quite a bit of extra classes/seminars/education so that he can keep learning about things for near future projects when its not usually in the budget for smaller indepedent engineering firms. A few weeks ago he got put up in a hotel in Denver for a two day long class and they let us tag along. Every night we enjoyed seeing some of the downtown denver nightlife and during the day the girls and I played until we collapsed. It was WAY fun!
The first day when went to the butterfly and bug pavillion. Emma was brave enough to hold a terantula named Rosie, whos caretaker was interestingly named Bunny.
Indoor beehive complete with bee counter and microphone to hear inside
We went to a famous ice cream spot that has crazy flavors
And the last day we spent hours and hours at the Denver Childrens Museum. We didn't even do it all, it was absolutely incredible how much stuff there was to do and try.
